I can't believe they're still called steamrollers I thought they were phased out in the 20's am there's no way it weighed 8 tons. He must've had some training though because it sounds like he had his seatbelt on which I'm sure the fiscal will take into account when sentencing him.

Clearway Landscaping.
He keeps on trying to pass off my work as his own, you can't believe anything the guy says. He has ripped off most of the builders merchants, mechanics and plant hire places in the area.
No idea what weight it was but they really are stupid enough to try and move it with a car.

I keep on running in to people who he has ripped off, worst I heard was him taking some pensioners down near coldingham for a few grand. Told them it was a deposit for building decking from them, they never heard from him again.
Not had that van. 2 merchants are up the road from me, 1 is Jewsons (right next door actually) and Thistle.
Jewsons did get broken in to about 18 months ago though, smash and grab. Don't know if they ever caught the guys.

As far as i know nobody was ever caught for it, Jewsons were done twice around the same time im sure. I kinda thought you were around that way. I knew another landscaper, another Stewart, he stayed in Tranent for a while and drove around in that style of van, was a long shot but you never know lol.
Oh aye DN, a perfect example of how men should be :p

Their assistant manager was sacked around the same time for stealing cash, supposedly a couple of grand but the people that I spoke to thought she had been stitched up.

Their plant manager was suspected of nicking stuff too but he pissed off to England because his family were getting death threats etc something to do with his son being a paedo.
I used to get stuff there but they're useless. Have to wait ages to get served because no yard staff or office staff. If you go in to pick something up off the shelf they charge you 10x the price, you have to go over every invoice and argue with their head office to get prices changed to what you were originally quoted, I got put on stop a few times because they said I hadn't paid their bills (I had paid what I was due, I didn't pay where they charged me more than their quoted price). Get most of my stuff from thistle now.
