Anyone able to recommend a laser level / where to buy one?
I noticed in the other threads that leica and spectra were recommended, people still stand by that?

Thanks, I will give them a call tomorrow. Looks like one of the basic Spectra ones does what I need, can't see myself needing any fancier than that.

as an engineer leica is the cream of any surveying gear however you do have to pay for it! Topcon are pretty good and robust too.not sure about spectra though!?

Offer came through the other day TopCon RL HC-3 with tripod and staff at £399+VAT which I thought was a steal.

Pheonix Survey Equipment

Sent a flyer round in July for July offers, but I'm sure they could be 'flexible'

This came from the Exeter branch.

I bought a topcon rl-h3c after using them for years and have never had any complaints. Leica are very popular too but imo the reciever is not as good!

You have the C-version of the RL-H3 Steve, with the grade option - do you ever use it?

I just have the standard version. I think the grade version is a RL-H3CS. Never really seen the grade feature being put to good use but i can see how it could be handyl!

That's wonderful, I'll be getting one too. At that price, it'd be rude not to. Chap who works for us paod nigh-on £680 for his two yrs ago, he was pig sick when he saw the offer come through.
