I 'found' it on another forum, they seem to reckon its nowt more than a glorified hiab/concrete pump, that doesn't require full crane cards, just a HGV license, and formal training, summat to do with it not having a winch arrangement.

Another bloke has bought a similar, albeit smaller scale one for his tree surgery business in America. Can park it on the front drive, and reach over the house to the back yard. I'll try and get a picture (some time after I get back from the pub)

You underestimate me Irish.

Must take some engineering to have the curving boom sections like that.

Here's the picture I promised (albeit a bit big)

There was one working in leith a few years ago, right on the water front. access was to tight for the regular telehandlers.
you need a crane ticket to operate it. :D

Dieci do a bigger one than that there's a few on sites over here inc one serving us with sand and paving last week I have a tele ticket and was able to blag a few minutes in it. It's a lot higher off the ground and wider than I'm used to good fun though.

Merlo have a whole series of them, including a new 24m reach, 6 ton payload. Manitou have a couple of Rotaries as well.

I Imagine they'd work well if you had the work for them

Largest capacity rated in the world.

Pretty handy if you've the work for it, and not signing the cheques to pay for it
