Ah well it could be worst, im having to swallow my pride and look for a job, and its a bit of bitter pill to take but owell, but anyway on a better note ive got a job interview next week with hayhurst civils as a foreman/supervisor, see how it goes, tbh id settle for a general groundworker role.

Anyway cheers lads for all the words of wisdom and advice since ive been a member.

In the words of Arnie "ill be back" - self employed one day :)

Kind regards Dan.

Good luck, we have all faced hard times and sometimes you need to swallow a bit of pride to help yourself. Just need to bash on :)

Dan, if your struggling to find a job give Pete Marquis a call. Got loads of contract work on at the minute for Conlons, he may still be taking on. Doing a bit for him myself for a couple of months.
Main downside is money is crap but its still a wage.

I may be bidding on a bit of your gear and would be interested in the tipper trailer when it comes free :;):

I know pete marquis, john reily, clive hurt, william pye plus others all personally as they all hail from round my ends and they all go to my local, but like you say the pay is shite.
