I been told off loads for carrying half batters on my shoulder, but nothing said when going down 4m deep hole in bucket.

i did some work for a builder i used to play rugby with the deep footing job, he's 23st of solid muscle 6 days a week weightlifter but not the roid rage type, i jokinly said he could but the pecker off the 3 ton into my truck, he only went and picked it up all 120kg of it on his own.

i've stacked full kerb units and moved them on my own, i'm 18 stone tight head prop haha, although hoping to reduce that by 4 stone, new girl long story haha...

i do have a prolapsed disk, the more painfull/uncomfy ailment is the sciatic nerve, but like i said some days are worse than others :(

I think when you do have a bad back you learn the comfiest way to lift if you get me?

60kg a man isnt that bad surely? if im loading the trailer up with bags of cement i never load one at once, usualy always carry two at a time and thats 50kg.

plus its only a quick heeeeeeaaaaaaaave and the wackers in the truck!

hse say no more than 25kg a man or 50kg for a dual lift, which is ridiculous really but i guess they have to, i got stopped in b&q the other month as i had 2 bags of plaster on my shoulder. asked to put them on a trolly haha

we've all done it getting rsj's in or heavy concrete lintels etc were you go a bit to far and get the bright bits in your eyes haha

thats partially why your back is in the state its in dan
as i said before i have been lucky with my back ,but a lot of that is genetics plus i did a lot of weightlifting from 14-18
(till i discovered women and pubs in fact)
the 138 kg between 3 of us certainly brought tears to my eyes
anyway at least it would need 2 pikeys to nick it eh?
