i have seen similar ones to the first video in this country,
the skid steer one i'v not seen before, but we arn't big on skid steers in uk MSH :)

I've seen a skid-steer paver lay permeable DBM as a base over Type 3 as the foundation for a permeable block pavement. The theory was that a skid steer on tracks wouldn't disturb the Type 3 quite as much. Yeah, right! It was a theory, is about all you can say for it! :p
