not sure as always its very hard to find a price from manufacturers website, the top of the range u500 full size one is £90,000 will pull 20 tons etc

this is scaled down version 7 ton weight, 150bhp, 8 speed box rather than the 24 on the bigger ones, still got 500 newton metres of torque,

4.8 ton load carrying and 11.2 tons on the trailer

are you saying that the load on that trailer is 11.2 tons or it can carry 11.2 tons cos from where I am sitting it looks more like 4 - 5 ton of sand but it could be the camera angle or the distance its from the front of the photo

and I can't help thinking that I would have great difficulty putting anything of any weight on the back of it if I could afford the 90k in the first place to buy one

nice toy though :)

I like the marketing ploy on the website. 'Compact and Inexpensive' 'Designed for the local authorities, gardening and Landscape contractors'

That said, I would like one, have the gritter and snow plough mounted on it, can't imagine the purse strings stretching to that though, not when we have to fight for a new pair of boots

the big ones, top of the range u500 240bhp 20 ton trailer load are 90k. its the go anywhere ability though for utility companies etc or people who work off road a lot. it can tow a gross weight of 11.2 tons as well as the 4.8 tons on the load bed to keep the total under 24 tons for the gross train weight bit.

if you look at the sizes of the wheeled loaders behind its a big trailer. i'm guessing they'll be about 50-60k

drawbar centre axle trailer

copied from farming forum:-

Just remember any load put on the pick up hitch is subtracted from the potential vehicle payload, so to take best advantage you need to shift to drawbar centre axel trailers with ~1t nose weight as the on vehicle payload (if loaded prior to the trailer) makes up for the lack of trailer nose weight.

better scale its 5 metres long the trailer
