you know those annoying barrows that always fall over with a full mix in and catch your knuckles on the wall or drop into the only hole on site.
well....
i got some revenge on one i have been having some issues with for a while
ran over it with js130 haha

barrows only fall over when the driver isnt paying attention,the concrete man turned up today and stood at the edge of the trench "what are we doing?" he said
then the side of the trench caved in
you have to pay attention
having said that my elbow and knuckles are skinned to pieces from digging 450 trenches 1200 deep

it was on its way out, think it had been slighty squashed by something before, it could be sat on level ground then all of a sudden with no one around fall over haha, its was due a recycling haha. tony get yourself a good ground worker haha

Hand digging 1200 trenches? Couldn't you get a micro in Tone?

Its a sod when they're out of shape. I had one like a sieve, but it ran a straight line all-day (until the front wheel fell off) then I had a new one that had a bit of a bump, it was like a Tesco trolley, every time you loaded a little off centre - bye-bye knuckles

no.
basically,its amphtill beds ,so its pure building sand, we cut the trench lines with a stihl saw then just shovel it out with a large shovel,me and 2 lads filled an 8 yd skip in 3 hrs this morning,if it was clay or chalk would have been a day at least
digger man looked at it but the problem was the concrete was 2 " thick on a brick laid flat,any sort of tracking would have had the lot in,plus no room to manoeuvre.
the skinned knuckles and elbows are part and parcel of the game,as we all know :;):

Could never keep hold of a good barrow, other squads were known to come in and pinch them out my van. That was untill i started chaining them round every bit of kit in the van. Even when spraying the reg no. on the side of the barrow they would either scrub it off or spray over it. Used to make my blood boil going to a job thinking ive got all the kit i need on then opening the back doors only to find ive got no bloody wheelbarrows 
Must admit i have had to take out some revenge on a knackered barrow just like GB. Was always more fun in the 1.5 tonner though, took longer to beat it flat(ish) lol
