Hi all
Been thinking of buying a Load EZE skip ramp, has anyone got one and if so are they any good or is there something else on the market (besides scaffold boards) thats better ?
Do you think they are worth £200+
From the pictures I've seen I can't make my mind up if the "bump over" wheel stop is a good thing !

The firm i work for has one and i would say it is definatly a good product. Im not sure of cost but id say the positives are-
Even with wet muddy boots it doesnt slip at all.
The wheel stop is fine till the levels up then you can just go to either side of it and further into the skip.
The only downsides i would say are on a 6 tonner the ramp does get a little steep but if you get a good run it is fine.
Especially handy if you have only got one man on job.
Hope this helps.

i brought a similar one about five years ago before i got my skip dumper, but i still use it from time to time where the access is too tight.
Mine has a "dip" in the ramp at the top for the barrow wheel to sit in, and i think its a better design
Let me check the make when i next get to the yard and i will get some details on it. I paid £150 for it.

Thanks all
I think I will definately be getting one now, its just down to finding the best price.
I have found a few different ones online, but they will only give a price if you contact them, I hate it when they do that.
I also found this online and think it says it all !

brilliant bit of kit, I rented mine as I am not n the game and need it in rush. Can be a bit daunting trying to get up with full (heavy) barrow into a 8 yard skip, does require a bit of a run up and keeping the barrow handles as low as possible (otherwise barrow stops all of a sudden when the tipping hook (correct technical phrase) catches on the ramp) but got to be better than a scaffold plank.

Sheesh Darren! That would have been very nasty indeed if there had been concrete lumps in the barrow. Not good.Edgecraft wrote:I also found this online and think it says it all !

Machine Mart Ramp
I highly recomend, works well even when its been cut in half and supported on a ladder and held together with cable ties! But then it is my Dads and its primary purpose is as a 2 ramps for loading his 1/3 sized traction engine on to its trailer.
