Hi,

I'm an amateur that has tried hand cutting of flagstones and clay pavers in the past and usually ended up with a pile of rubble due to poor tools and bad technique. I have also cut with a brick saw but often hand cut especially for stone is mandatory.

I read the site info on hand tools and their use. I found a source for pitching chisels on-line (I'm in the states). Are these worth buying?

Perhaps it would be better to ask what would be a good beginners chisel set for cutting pavers and flag stone?

Thanks

Yep - that looks as good as anything I've seen over here. Once you have the correct tools, it should only take half-a-dozen years or so for you to get the knack of using them! :;):

Intreresting spelling of "Thumbnails" on that page!
