Hi

I had the block paver from hell who took months to complete the job on a large drive and didn’t apply kiln sand as the job progressed and due to all the torrential rain the sand under the pavers is wet through.

What are my choices or do I just need to cover the drive with polythene and wait until spring and obviously not use it.

Or if covered might it dry out sooner even this time of year ?

I have no regress to the contractor as he has gone into receivership.

Cheers for any feedback.
Thanks

Has the paving been jointed now?

It needs to be left open to the elements to drive off any excess moisture, but most of that should drain through a *properly constructed* sub-base.
