Hi all,
I’ve had a good look round and found answers to many of my questions, it’s a great resource!
One thing I haven’t quite found is the acceptable gap between a solider course and the fixed edge (I.e the wall of the house) the person who is laying the pavers is using a string line to get a straight edge, but in some cases this has wandered off (the wall is quite uneven, even though I think they’ve given more leeway than needed) leaving 15-20mm gap. Is this ok to just be filled with paving sand, or should it be mortered as well, I’m worried it doesn’t look that good, but more importantly I don’t want the blocks to move over time.
Any advise would be appreciated!
Thanks
