Day 1 of my new driveway and my neighbour has just pointed out that 4 of my new dropped kerb stones have chips between 25-40mm in size (in the corners).
I just wanted to find out if this is par for the course and a very minor issue or if this is something I should raise with the contractor tomorrow?

on highway works a chipped kerb would be refused but you can get a repair concrete for them but it never blends in that well

yes, when we've done roads for highway adoption they've been very stringent on chips etc

As Giles says should be fail same as any cuts under 300mm but all depends on the inspector

I contacted the contractor and he has said it is fine. Guess I have to wait and see if the inspector has any objections.
