Hi ive got a driveway to do in driveline metro in april.Has anyone laid these blocks before.the best price i could find so far is 32 pound plus vat a metre.Also by my reckoning as the blocks are 480mm by 130mm.im working that out at roughly 16 to a metre am i correct .thanks

Got a price for these last year think was closer to 40 plus vat a meter there just over 16 to a meter we never did the job in the end as the price was too high for the blocks although in a way glad as we didn't really have the time to fit it in.
They do look a nice block but guess they have to be laid individually rather than lay and compact the whole job

Hi thanks for that . Price is from tp. It says that blocks can be screened and laid , which I'm a bit worried about if they will lay properly . I have covered myself and told the customer it might cost them more money for laying if they can't be screed laid.

They weren't really suitable for the job I looked at (quite a few different falls and one section fir a ramp would have meant cutting around a m2 down so they could roll with the ramp qhich would have looked odd) I think in the end they went with standard blockpaving but we couldn't fit in with their timeline.
I was wondering how they would handle been wacked due to the length of them

I would love the opportunity to install these, they look stunning. Wouldn't have an issue wacking these at 80mm thick.
In the brochure says "do not cut with water when in situ as will permanently stain".
That would worry me!
Why are they more likely to stain in situ than if cut around the corner on a masonry saw? ???

Started laying these yesterday and must say what a lovely block .easy to lay and hardly any waste from cutting .The pictures in brochure dont do them justice.only downside quite heavy.Look sleek.

Have you been laying them as standard blocks or are you laying on a mortar bed
