My front door step is on the drive which I intend to block pave. Ideally I would like a new step to match the new drive but not sure of a few things. The step is on a gradient/slope although not too much so would this be possible using the bull nosed edging stones. Would I be correct it saying the step should be made first and the drive blocks fitted around it. Thanks. John.

Yes step first and blocks around it.
Ideally at least 50mm of the bull nosed kerb will be below the finished level of the drive.
Paste some SBR slurry on the backside of the kerbs and haunch with concrete up to 75mm of the top of the kerb.
