Sprayed stain resistant coating on concrete pavers - Applied by the manufacturer?

Hello! Have a USA manufacturer promoting an inline "surface treatment" for their permeable pavers that makes them darker and stain resistant. They do NOT promote it as a sealer. Are there any UK or European companies that do this with their pavers and if so what have been the experiences? I ask because this manufacturer is claiming this process has been used in Europe for 7-8 years. Please note this is NOT applied after installation; its sprayed on freshly newly made units after they leave the mold and enter the curing kiln. THANKS
