Hi do any of the big merchants stock white kiln dried sand please anyone. Customer doesn't like the normal stuff I just want paying

tobermore do silver kiln dried but dont know if they do over on the mainland too.

never seen white before, we use Hanson what is a light sand colour but as soon as it gets wet it looks darker anyway

I have Hansen on the job mick they don't like it . I can't see what's wrong with it.the orange kiln dried they have down here I can understand but nothing wrong with Hansen.

It doesn't matter what colour the jointing sand is when new: it will be mucky brown in a couple of months as it self seals with crud. Will your overly fussy clients expect you to come and clean it for them?
You can get a silver sand suitable for use as a jointing material from Garside Sands, part of Agg Industries. You'll not half pay for it, and it will still be mucky brown by the end of June!

I normally find a sharp rap on the head with a paving mallet help awkward sods see the light
as said it will be brown in a few months so whats their problem?
the stuff we get from butterfields is very light but thats just because its what they stock
