Is that Luton prices. Bloody hell - £4.20 each

I pay £2.80 plus vat each at Jewsons.

I have stopped using them though. There were too many chips and chunks missing - especially on the special external corners.

If I needed 100 kerbs, I had to order 130 to make sure I had 20 good ones. If I needed 4 corners, I had to order 10.

In the past 12 months, I have returned over 80 damaged kerbs that were unusable

Its a pity, as I agree with LLL that they are a lovely kerbs.

I now use the Drivesett Kerbs for my steps and edgings. Don't need specials either for the corners. I pay £1.50 each for these

hard to believe travis perkins are that much cheaper

and nigel I reckon they sent me all your knackered corners and kerbs

had to order the 4 external corners in special and they turn up with chips the size of tangerines in the face

still nice kerbs though

£18.40 plus vat.
I might be able to get them slightly cheaper at the nasty TP but I have a very good person at Jewsons that I deal with and she looks after me, plus the deliveries are usually spot on with timings and reliability. So I don't mind paying slightly more for a better service

It must be annoying paying more than us northerners for the same stuff !

It's the cost of the corners that pisses me off. £8 each.

I thought gibbs where independant. I always used them over jewsons if I was working in the luton area.

it was kieran until about 5-6 years ago when jewsons and then sant gobain bought them out
i remember when they had lots of little places all over Luton
apart from butterfields there are no independents in Luton now
