My block paving drive is looking a bit tired! It has sunk a little in places, particularly where the car drives, and the joints are full of moss and weeds. I have had a quote from Weatherproof Coatings Limited to clean, lift sunken blocks and then seal with their sealant called a "resin" seal. I wonder if anybody has had experience with this company or can advise me of any questions I should be asking? The work has a 10 year guarantee, but is not underwritten by an insurance company.
They have also quoted to do a similar job on the roof.

Whats the guarantee covering?

It can't be the sealer, because it simply won't last 10 years and it can't be the rutted/sunken blocks because they will start to settle/sink after afew months.

I don't know the company, but to late in the year to seal block paving IMO, unless you want a fail, too damp and weather is to unpredictable at the moment as well.

Re the roof cleaning, yes it is the latest fad, I know a couple of companies doing this, and doing decent work and again fine time for cleaning but to damp to seal.
