Greetings to anyone who may be able to offer a little insight. I'm about to start getting some quotes to have our drive block paved. Its 50 square metres, roughly, currently tarmac and slopes down to the road. Based on other drives that have been done in the area (we're in hertfordshire) I'm thinking it will be somewhere in the region of £4.5k but I could be way off the mark (other half thinks £3k).
We're not looking at having anything elaborate just standard blocks laid in a stretcher pattern.
Grateful for any insights........

I would suggest prices to be in the £70/80m2 range, in my area £65 is normal, but allowing for local costs £70+m2 would be a fair estimate MSH :)

anything from £75-90 per metre IMHO
a lot depends on drainage and kerbs etc
BTW stretcher bond is not suitable for a domestic driveway
should be either 45 or 90 herringbone

Thanks for the replies. I've got a ball park to work in now.
Thanks again.
