In September 2012 we entered a selection of the driveways and patio's we have constructed for customer throughout the north west area into the 2012 Marshall's installer of the year competition, the competition is open to all of the Marshall's registered contractors throughout the UK

On Thursday 17th January 2013 was the Marshalls north west regional awards and Crystalclear was awarded

Best large driveway transformation (over 70m2)

Best use of ethically sourced Fairstone paving

Best small patio transformation (under 35m2)

Most creative use of Marshalls products

To win Best Driveway 3 years running is such an achievement and we are very proud indeed, we focus on attention to detail with all our paving which makes our work stand out from the rest and our customer satisfaction is second to none

I would like to give a big thank you to all the Marshall's staff for putting on a well organised presentation and fantastic night for the 2012 North West region register awards

Well done to everyone

Thank you bodgeit, might of been a bit far to travel each morning though :)

Cheers Steve

The top photo was taken by the Marshalls photographer and I took the rest with a Sony HD video recorder and saved still shots from the video

They are all great shots. Its really difficult to photograph paving. Were not 100% happy with our imagery, we've used professional photographers before and have never been 100% happy with them. Did the marshalls guys use any lights?

no lights used, they was at the house for 4 hours in total but was also waiting for the right time when the clouds just blocked off the bright sun glare which gave a better photo

they have much better kit than I use but I am happy with the results I achieve

Yours are top notch Mick. You've captured the texture of the stone and also the overall setting, which I think is the most difficult

are you holding your head to the left when you take your photos, I believe that helps :)
