I've been asked to put together a list of 'better' contractors who might be interested in receiving specialist training for installing a new type of stone sett paving.
The company behind the scheme are only interested in experienced *quality* contractors based north of Stoke and south of Glasgow/Edinburgh at this moment in time. That will probably change in the longer term.
For now, this is nothing more than an expression of interest. There's no commitment from any party. We just want to put together a shortlist of maybe a dozen contractors who could be best placed to take advantage of the new products.
A few of you may have already received emails informing you that I've put forward your name on a 'no-obligation' basis, but if anyone else fancies a go, let me know BEFORE Monday evening.

If that includes contractors in Edinburgh then sign me up for more info. Most of my work is in Edinburgh but I do the occasional job in the borders.

Well both of yous should have had it, as your names are definitely on the list.
I know some of the "candidates" received it, because I've had email feedback, so maybe there are spamtrap problems with your email servers. I know we've been having a few problems over recent weeks with the emails to/from the pavingexpert domain, but I thought we had it all sorted.
I'll send again - if you don't receive in the next 24 hrs, let me know......

Strange! I don't want to publish the full list of who was on the list for obvious reasons, but it's bloody odd that 3 of you got nothing - I'll send a copy to you now, Mick.....

I think we’ve crossed wires here.
I received your email telling me about the new product, I was asking if any BC members had been contacted by the company promoting the specialist training yet.

As I understand it, and the company behind the product are not the most communicative, the bloke in charge was on holiday until Monday of this week and is spending this week going through the list.
As soon as they tell me I can open my big mouth about the product, I will, but for now, I have to respect their wishes.
