We had our driveway and a larger area next to the house block paved 2 years ago, and the company who did it used Marshalls keybond joint stabaliser.
I have read that it needs re doing every 2 years or thereabouts. After looking on here at the different types of stabaliser, I wondered what sort of price I should expect to pay for a decent quality one, not the best, to cover an area about 6m squared approximately.

Does it actually need a stabiliser if the the fall isn't steep it's unlikely that a stabiliser will make any difference because the sand isn't being scoured..

Sorry, but how do you know what the fall is. I didn't say there was a fall did I?
Yes it does slope a little, but what does that have to do with my question.
Or am I totally missing the point?
I just wanted to know what stabaliser I should use , if any , as I have re sanded the joints.
I thought that stablising the joints would stop weeds etc growing through them , which is what I want.

I think Pablo was just trying to save you paying for something you may not require.
Stabilisers are used where the sand will be washed/blow out.

In 20 years of block paving I have used keybond 2/3 times on wide joint set paving, there is very little need to use the stuff,Marshalls is probilly one off the main one's on the market, usually order only from merchants, after a few rains the sand will be set in anyway,if it washes out top it up a couple of times, weeds only grow from blow in the wind seeds and birds dropping then, usually on the mud that falls from car wheels, keep it clean no weeds MSH :

Ok thanks, but how do I keep it clean or what is the best way to clean it.
There was quite a bit of moss growth in between about half of the joints, so I killed it with a decent quality weedkiller, then raked it out when it was all dead. Consequently, it need re sanding again, so that is why I thought that it should be stabalised again.
If there is no need to stabalise the joints again I won't, and I would go over it with weedkiller every now and again.

Weedkiller will not kill moss so use a product like patio magic or other algaecide twice a year and it will look great.
Blocks with a chamfered edge are more of a problem.

The blocks we have are the ones with chamfered edges.
Thanks for the tip on patio magic. The weedkiller I used was called Deadfast.
