I have spent the last 4-6 weeks planning to lay my pavor drive,managed to get one side completed laid the other half after the last few bricks had been laid it poured down with rain for nearly 2 days.Sun came out and bricks were dry so i spread the kiln sand brushed it in and wacked it. Lo and behold i had a small river running down my drive,all the rain had not drained away and it decided to run over the pavors and wash the sand down the channel adjoining the pavement.I have tried to wack it since even though there was only a trickle of water rising to the surface this half looks like it has channels running the length of it.Would this be the rain running under the bricks and causing these channels?. The other half is perfect nice and flat. My mate suggests he brings his larger compactor round and wacks across to level the bricks out.I'm tempted to wait for the winter to come,(probably drier then) and relay this half completely.What would you suggest?.
