I used to have 2 steel rods for screeding rails. Somebody stole 2!
Therefore I only have 1 left, if I cut in half they will be around 2m each. Is that long enough for a job 6.5m long by 3.6 wide.
If not, anybody in the Rotherham area got extra to loan me.

Had 2, 2 nicked, but you still got 1 left?? Your maths is worse than mine, galv metal pipe conduit from electrical wholesalers will be about 20 quid

They're long enough but you may not be accurate with them over that distance if this is your first time laying. Just buy a couple of new ones as Lpad says.
