Is silver sand ok for joint filling? - Bought 4 bags but having 2nd thoughts

As above is silver sand ok - or would I be better getting some plain old kiln dried joint filling sand, cheers?

You need kiln dry sand, as it will flow in the joints, silver sand is moist and will not flow MSH

You can buy kiln dried silver sand from Tobermore and I sure various other outlets. If you can't find it and still want to use it then you could slurry sand it which is very easy and gives just the same finish and strength.

ahhh - think thats where I went wrong then eh? should have asked for the kiln dried silver sand, ney mind will be off to get some of the standard kiln dried stuff.
