Hi
Our recently laid block drive (Bretts) is fine but on the slopes some of the sand has washed away in heavy rain. what sand should I top up with /sweep in please and can I get it from somewhere like B and Q or Wickes. Existing sand is pinky colour. Thanks Julian

aka kiln dried sand
Make sure the block paving is dry before you brush the sand in. Use a soft brush rather than a stiff one.

According to my knowledge sand with polymers added to it has been quickly growing in popularity among contractors. With polymeric sand water has less opportunity to seep below the hard wearing surface of the pavement.

sadly william polymeric sand is very porous
that being one of its main features
more to follow at the conclusion of some issues i have had
