Hi there,
I have laid 200 X 100 X 100mm soldier course in Granite block along my paths. It looks good so far. I will fill the center with a nice gold pebble for contrast and a few Quartz slaps in the middle.
However the only problem I'm having is that I cant decide to use rompox or dryish sand and cement to joint the granite blocks. I have around 80 linear meters and reckon it will take about 8 to 10 15kg tubs of rompox at 35 euro a pop.... so over 300 lids at least. I am considering using a light mix of sand and cement and compress it into the joint and spray some water on it.
Any suggestions comments on this. I dont want to spoil the stone as I have kept it clean so far but dont want to spend so much on jointing.
Thanks M
