Good afternoon.

I've been on here a few times asking questions (probably stupid ones!) regarding block paving and now I've had the job done I have one more...

Should the contractor supply me with a guarantee along with his invoice? He's on the Brett 'Approved Installer' list. I know there's a 10 year guarantee from Brett that involves both of us filling out a form, but shouldn't he also be handing me a 5 year installation guarantee?

Do I insist on this being supplied before handing over the cheque? Not being a difficult, stroppy client, I just want to be sure I'm doing everything right.

Thanks,
Stuart

Did you both agree to a 5yr guarantee before work started?.

If you have filled out the form for the product guarantee with him and as Rab said if he said he would give you a 5 yaer installation guarantee, then he should have also left you with a filled out 5 year installation guarantee too as provided to him from brett.
