Ok, It's time to start my project once again after using the winter as an excuse to stop works last year.

I've made some wooden gates for the entrance to my new driveway, my problem is the road across my entrance is at a slight angle to my drive (about 0.5m over 4m). So do I place the gate posts square to the road or to my drive?

If square to my drive one post will be 0.5 in from road and look odd, if square to road the gates will look pissed to the drive. Ahrrrrrrrrr....

Yeh, but then when the gates open they go 90' to the posts so one side will not open enough.

Looks like you just answered your own question then. Unless you get hinges so you can open the gate past 90

Spose I have really, I'm thinking small granite sets in the triangle outside the posts, set in concrete?
