I read on here that the concrete mix for laying the edge should be; 6 measures of small gravel with 3 measures of sharp sand and 1 measure of Ordinary Portland Cement.

Im laying the blocks on 50mm of concrete as the blocks will be laid against a wall either side and the house at the front.

Will a 50mm be ok for where my drive meets the pavement?

Does the mix sound right for what im doing?

many thanks

I'd do a stronger mix where your threshold is and make it 100ml thick at least.

Ok by stronger you mean adding more cement? what ratio would you give for the sharp sand/gravel/cement?

Also you dont have to concrete inbetween do you, its only under the blocks?

Many thanks

Depends if your doing flexible, or rigid paving. Just concrete edgings will do, sand under main body blocks.
