Our driveway sub-contractors who were asked to flush point the architect supplied irregular granite blocks, have
raised the pointing so that it covers some of the block.
It looks like an Albanian road minus donkeys and rock catseyes. (This courtesy of Top gear)
Would anyone recommend using a concrete grinder with strip setts. Any advice gratefully received.

No easy options really, risk affecting the face of the granite.

My guesses would be manually working away on them with hammer chisel etc

Some acid washing

Sand blasting using moveable masking steel plates

Non are easy or cheap or non messy
