Hi, as stated on previous posts, I only do a handfull of paving jobs, more into the black stuff. I layed my blocks a couple of days ago, I held off for a few days as we had some rain. I put my kds on and started to wack them in. After a few passes i noticed the sand started to get damp and then suddenly water started to come up through some of the blocks. Any idears what to do chaps.
regards

water should run off if you've got the falls right. some water will go down untill its sanded in. surely if the type 1 was wet when put down you would'nt have been able to compact it. if it was ok and well compacted when put down, the water will just becoming out the laying sand.

i have seen this plenty of times after heavy rain
the laying course is saturated
you can wash your KDS in with a fine mist from a hose ,but do not wack it while its wet
leave for 2-3 dry days before wacking
cheers LLL
