Hi, as stated in previous posts, I have done a few paving jobs but wouldn't call myself an expert as I do more of the black stuff. I love reading the different ways to pave and something has caught my eye. Compaction first or before KDS is applied. WI have read the pros and cons and to me they are equally matched, What do the experts do?
Regards
Lou

I had hoped it was sort of clear on that page that the most suitable method is determined by the type of block being used.

I know most contractors sand then compact but experience does show that, with certain block types, it's actually better to compact and then sand, mainly because of the potential of damage to blocks during the compaction phase.
