I see on your main website pictures and info on crushed slate waste used as a fill and surface dressing for a public carpark.
I am working on a project in North Wales and wish to use slate for the car park.
I would like to know of any examples of where this has been done and how it is constructed.

Also in Nantlles, Blaenau and several small villages around Nant-y-gwyn, but I don't have details of of precise locations.

Construction has typically involved laying a sub-base of larger slate waste, typically 100mm down roughly 250-450mm thick (constructed in layers), with a 75-100mm regulating layer of 40mm to dust material, and then a surface dressing of 25mm down.
