Hey People,

Happy 2011,

Had my block paving laid about 3 months ago. Brett Block 50mm but 50% of block look damp around the edges of each block. I had a neighbour had its block paving installed about 6 months before mine and they look fine.

Is there a problems with the blocks ???????

Many Thanks in advance,,,,Please Help :(

Nope, they'll dry out over the summer months and all will be well for ever more. Amen.

Seriously, there's nothing wrong.

We're in the wet season, so the driveway hasn't had a chance to dry out fully, especially given that it was only laid in October.

Look at it again in June and I'll bet the problem has mysteriously vanished! :D

Thanks guys for the prompt reply.

Just spoke to my neighbour he believes his paver used a sealant which gives a sheen finish and protects it. But i've been told not to use any sealant for atleast 18 months???

any ideas !!! Thanks

....Yes a good idea to read what's been written in reply and wait till the spring. You cant seal till drier weather.
