We've just had our driveway block paved and we're really happy with the job except for one thing... I've attached a picture to show you what I mean. The level of the new path is above the level of two of the airbricks (but below the DPC). I did point this out to the guys doing the job, but they said that it was fine as the path sloped away from the house and even if a bit of water got in through the airbricks, it wouldn't cause any probs. I have no idea, so am looking for opinions... am I being fed a line?
Also, on another note, I just realised that the quote they gave us mentioned bullnose bricks as edging, whereas they have used regular charcoal bricks. Do you think I should mention this to them too as I think this would be quite a big price difference?

also without seeing the quote and the finished edging its hard to quantify

there are no such thing as bull nosed concrete block paving
you can get bull nosed KS and KL kerbs but they are about a quid each (£10 per metre ) and they haven't used them
can you take a picture from farther away,one that includes doors
