Hi,

I'm using paviours bedded on grit sand to create a mowing strip around my lawn.

The lawn slopes and isn't level. How can I ensure that the mowing strip slopes in a straight line. Do I use a string line and if so where do I put it so its not in the way when I lay the paviours?

Thanks,

Jon

use line when its too long for a straight edge or STRAIGHT piece of wood, do the first and last block and take ages getting them level plumb and alaigned then use the straight edge or line to the top edge. line will get in the way a bit a straight edge is better but not always possible. if you use wood check that its straight each day as they bend in different weather
