Just laid aco drain on driveway with the galvanised grating.

Noticed that the grating is not actually fastened down...and am a little concerned that it could be stolen.....to anyone out there what is the best way of preventing theft short of concreting in the grate. I need to be able to access the aco drain channel to clean once/twice a year of leaves...

The only gratings that are nickable are the D400 and E600 spec cast iron ones, they are more often than not the screwed down type. But I've found these to be pretty poor as soon as the bolts weather the captives corrode and either spin or shear off when you come to undo them!

Theft of the A15 galvanised tops? Never worth anyones time or effort imo.
