Hi
I have a block paved patio which "The Builders" have been using as a store/workyard. I asked for protective sheeting to be layed but after many requests (all ignored) I finally gave up. The situation is that my once pristine patio is now stained with concrete/plaster dust and no amount of jet washing or scrubbing will eradicate it. Is there any substance that can used to solve this problem?
Many thanks.

Take photos as evidence then tell the boss you will hold back payment until it been put right. Even if that means renewing the blockwork.

Definately hold back money and get them to sort it out there's no excuse for not making good and cleaning your mess up. Some types of block are double sided so you may be able to flip them if they're too bad.

Completely out of order.
Cleaning up and leaving the job as you found it, is part of the job and not an extra.
If the situation is as you state, then you should insist with politeness, patience and above all persistance, that its put right or replaced.
If they refuse, name and shame then take it further but dont let it go.
It's things like this from dog rough outfit's, cowboy's and our caravaned counterpart's that give the industry a bad name. Good luck. Nick.
