Hi i seem to be struggling with a area to be block paved in tegs
it is flat! the area is a basic rectangle, length is 10m and 4.5m
in width . there is only 30mm fall over the ten meters i plan on
putting a aco at one end and fall it all one way aco is needed as
there will be a slideing gate with lip for the gate wheel to run on
so water is trapped unless aco installed i have tried fallind it
different ways but cause more problems wot would the bare min
fall be i could get away with? please advise

30mm over 10000mm is no where near enough it pretty much level at that, can't find the bit on the main page at mo but give us a second...

could you not pick it up in middle and throw it both ways

You can do as Ambient suggests and create a summit in the centre to shed water in both directions, or you can create a valley in the centre and drain everything towards a linear channel or gully located there.

Trying to drain to one end with those inadequate falls *will* cause problems and, if the client is insistent, then you must get them to sign a waiver stating that you had advised them that the fall was insufficient but they instructed you to continue and thereby accept all responsibility for ponding, settlement and any other problems that may occur.
