i recently purchased 10 barrels of resiblock trade all purpose sealant and i have had nothing but complaints from my clients.
Resiblock have told me that nobody else has complained.
The clients left the driveways for 5 to 6 days without driving on them and yet all of the driveways were left with dreadful tyre marks.It just seemed like the sealant wasn't curing properly.
Has anyone used this product,and if so...how did it go for you.

Was the block dry when applied,did you mix and stir the goo,the trouble with resiblock once its on you cant get the goo off,complain heavily to resiblock and make them come out to look at it, in my opinion resiblock is rubbish iv used it over the years and would not use it again,there is better sealants on the market,
you can only remove it with resiblock cleaner nothing else will do it,it is not zyleene based like most products MSH

yes but it was a fairly new product from resiblock.An all round sealant,but i think it is water based.The curing seems to be the problem.The tyre marks look awful.
What sealants would you recommend then...do you think smart seal is any good ?

I used resiblock about 12 years ago , made the driveway go all patchy, the block who came out to look at it was hopeless ,even my customer was telling him that it was done correctly as he had watched and read up on it before he agreed to have it done, i spoke with resiblock loads of times before i installed it, anyway i was so p---ed off with there lack of help and with a customer who now had a rubbish looking driveway, i ripped it up and replaced it at my own cost.
live and learn eh, will never use it again

We had a major Resiblock product failure recently but not the new "Trade" product. If you want to contact me via pm or email I'll try and help as we have sorted it out. I don't want to put the conversations that went on with Resiblock on here as it might be seen as lible etc.

Hi - I found this site after doing a search after messing up my new drive.
I applied Resiblock trade as per the instructions and it has dried very patcy with some areas of the drive a lot darker than others. It even looks like there are areas of staining on it. Also tyres seem to mark the surface very easily.
I am not sure what to do next to try and improve it or get rid of it or whether I am stuck with it so any advice would be greatly appreciated. I have sent a questionnaire together with photos to Resiblock and I am awaiting a response.
It seems this is a common occurrence which has come as a surprise to me as I thought it was a reputable product.

Keep us posted on your progress (or lack of) with Resiblock, Lee?
I would think a private message to Roger @ R&A is your best way foward. It does seem as though there is a problem with this product and it is not just limited to one or two drives......:rock:
