Hi all i have been looking through many brochures at paving colours only to find a massive discrepancy when i actually view them in the flesh. Can anyone recommend a good block.I am looking towards brown, buff type colours in a cobble

ps Is 50mm ok for drives or would i be better going for 60mm
thanks Steve

in my opinion the sub base is more important than the thickness of the block, if the mot type 1 hardcore is not compacted enough in layers of no more than 100mm at a time or if the sand laying course is not compacted enough then any depth of block will still sink

i find that 50mm blocks come loose if customer has big 4wd and i always do a good strong sub base so i always use 60mm block and get no comebacks

Clay or concrete? Tumbled, textured or plain? It might be worth a read of this page
