I've laid about 60m2 of 900 x 600 honeydew slabs. There's a 15mm gap 'ish

I dont want to grout it all by hand with a trowel because it will take forever and will probably stain too much. I *think* a poured grout, done carefully, will give a good finish and fill all the gaps.

Can anyone recommend either a good mix for a poured grout or a product to use that is already mixed for it. Failing that, if you have any better suggestions then lets hear them. I know a lot of people say that a dark grout will set off the stone but I want to match closely to the slab colour. Anyone suggest the right kind of dye to use?

I read all that and thats why I thought it was best but I wasnt sure a) what to use to colour the cement and b) what mix was right for a poured grout. Any ideas would be a big help.

Your builders' merchant will be able to give you a dye which will work with a poured mortar but to be honest this is a difficult technique if you're not experienced. If you find the prospect of pointing it all with a jointing iron daunting then consider one of the resin-based products which will set after simply sweeping in and is available in various colours. Both Romex and GftK products are often discussed favourably by the professionals here.

Be warned i`m only an amature, when we pointed our patio i borrowed my mates pointing gun (basically a big mastic gun for cement) which allowed me to do 40m2 relitivly quickly with no real mess, however i still hade to strike the joints to make them look nice which took a while.
