Hi,

I can't find any calculators on your site for the amount of jointing sand I need (ie the kiln-dried sand to brush into the gaps in block paving). Do you have any rules of thumb?

I'm going to be laying 30 sq meters of 300x300 40mm pavers with a 4mm gap - I was going to buy 2x20kg bags of a product called "gap sand" which is designed for just this purpose, but I'm having difficulty guessing how much I am likely to use

Any advice appreciated!

Tony

Usually a bag will cover 7-10m2 so if you bought 4 bags you should be fine and will have some spare for topping up in the future.
