Hi im looking for block paving contractor that will charge per sqaure metre £45 - 50 per square metre that includes material digging and clearing away leaving a clean block paved driveway recomendations please and recomeded by others that have had there driveway block paved please give company names thanks

i think you will be lucky to get a contractor at that price in essex,you will be closer to 60-65 per metre MSH :)

You will not get *quality* block paving for that price in that part of the country. You'd be lucky to get quality paving for that price in Scotland or N.Ireland where prices are lowest of all in UK.

What you will get is cowboys, taxi drivers, chancers, bodgers and rogues.

You should *always* buy on quality, not on price.

im looking for a competive per square metre price more of £45 - 50 per sqaure metre what will you charge for a 55 square metre for block paving? going by your rate of £60 per square metre im sure that will include materials digging of exsiting area and taking away waste inc leaving clean job is this true?

really what is you suggestions? please recomended im looking for competive prices

Mind you there are plenty of lads who have come off the sites lately who probably would!

what are you quotes then per square metre i have got a 58 sq m area for block paving

Listen to what i and the gaffer have said, 50 soffs is way to low for a job off any quality,essex is very close to london rates for materials and labour, i know there is a credit crunch but material's have gone up aggregate tax is up ,dont forget any good contractor price will be +vat 45-50 a metre inc vat you will get a bodge job,have a read throght the site and learn whats involved in blockpaving,there are to many cowboys out there right now with the work situation on site's you will be paying you need to set you budget to 70 a metre MSH :)

If you read the site you will see the gaffer don't price jobs anymore...........MSH :(

58m at £70m=4060+vat=£4669 MSH :)
