Hello,

I'm about to start doing my garden path but i'm having trouble accessing info via the web to help aid me and its starting to get on my nerves which in the end is probably a stupid question or one that highly makes no difference which way i'm going to do it!!

Anyway, going to dig about 6 inches and lay that weed fabric.
Next is hardcore yes? Seeing as you cant just pop into b and q and buy hardcore i was going to use their sub base as the first layer.
Then i was going to sharp sand it and place the paving onto that.

Or after the sand should i use this stuff ready mixed mortor (hansons from b and q no need for water) i saw then put the paving down.?

I'm getting tired of google not helping and want the job to turn out ok.

any advice would be handy, thank you.

Haven't actually bought them yet but anything from b&q or wickes really, was looking at; Bradstone Derbyshire Paving Terracotta (W) 45 x (L) 45cm or Derby Utility Paving.

I found that page earlier but got a headache ???

If you got a headache reading the information on the main site, how would reading the very same information here, after it's all been re-typed by some poor sod, make it any less painful?

Try not to take all the information in at one go. Read up on the dig first, then sub base etc. That way its not so confusing :;):

So correct, my apologies. Have taken my time now and steadily getting there. I just got hit by alot of info with various options and couldn't get simple answers for a novice, got a tad stressed.

I can now start with a peaceful mind.
