Paint spots on block paving

Hi,
I have paint spots on my block paving and would like to ask how I can remove these. I've tried spirit, but it is not effective. I'd appreciate your advice, many thanks.

if its only on a few take the blocks up and replace them
if its tegula you could just turn them over

Do you know what sort of paint it is?

As posted before, What type of paint is it, and how long has it been on the surface?
Could you post a photo?
