have a look through previous threads but I think the Gaffer eluded to some batch problem resiblock, which they weren't particularly wiling to fix, still good product but how are sure your aren't getting leftovers from the bad batch or the same thing hasn't happened to another batch.

cheers been told cementone is good ? anybody tried it ? they do mat or gloss to be honest im not a beliver and its been too many years since ive sealed a drive in this way but customer verry insistant

I'd be reluctant to use Cementone because of their very, very strange attitude to customer complaints. There was a time when I would have considered using their products for residential driveways, but experience on a project in the east midlands of England has caused me to revise that opinion.
Resiblock did have problems, and although the remedy has been a long, drawn out affair, it has, at last, been resolved, and, to be fair, problems with Resiblock are an exception.
There are other good CBP sealants, and I'd be reluctant to say that any particular one was always the best choice. You have to consider the finish, the type of block being sealed, the traffic, and, of course, the cost. At the moment, I'm quite impressed with PavSeel and CoverGard, both of which offer good results, excellent protection and a sensible price.
I would caution against the crap sold in the DIY sheds: it's a poor attempt at being a jack-of-all and there's never a week passes by without some poor sod emailing or phoning in search of a cure for milky discolouration.
