i read on this site a while ago that wacking the finished surface with a wacker can damage the surface of the blocks. do you need to use a mat with the wacker, or is there another way of getting round this problem. cheers, bondy.

Use a rubber mat only with clay pavers.

Concrete ones will be fine.
